Citizen Watch: Evolution

Citizen Watch

Did you know that the first watch Citizen ever made was the Citizen Watch? In 1893, an entrepreneur and watchmaker named Kintaro Hattori started making watches in Osaka. The company continued to grow over the years and became very well-known for its diver’s wristwatches. United States president James H. Cox visited the company and presented them with an award for their work on diver’s watches.

In 1937, Citizen officially became a company and continued to expand until 1965, when it produced the first Japanese quartz watch. The Citizen Quartz Astron was the name of this watch. These watches were made in Japan instead of Switzerland, where a lot of other watches were made at the time.

Another revolutionary invention of the Citizen watch came in 1969 when they created the world’s thinnest automatic watch. The A660 was only 0.35mm thick and became popular worldwide.

In 1998, Citizen surprised the world by making the first split-second quartz chronograph watch. The Credor was the name of this watch. When it came out in 2000, the Chronograph CA100 was a groundbreaking watch that changed the industry. People still think it’s better than the one that came before it.

Citizen has produced some of the most innovative watches in history. Their watch designs have been appreciated not just by Japanese people but by millions around the world. Their watches provide consumers with an affordable alternative to the higher-end name brands.

I think the Eco-Drive is one of the best things Citizen has come up with. This is a light source that the watch can keep for a long time. When it gets dark, or when you’re in an area where there isn’t much light, your watch will automatically use up this stored energy to keep time and still continue to operate. This is a pretty cool new idea, and it has given the watch business a technology that is good enough for the military and can be used in many ways.

The Citizen Men’s Watch also offers various designs and styles to choose from, including dress watches like the Blue Angel. This particular style features a round face with two eagle wings on each side. There are also other styles, such as the Gilles Boclet Heritage Collection and the Giro Chrono Speciale. I personally prefer the Chrono Speciale because it uses a mineral dial window and a stainless-steel case that is sure to impress anyone who sees it.

Another great element of Citizen Men’s Watches is that they offer both analog and digital versions of their watches. This makes them more affordable for consumers who really don’t want to spend a lot of money on a watch but are still looking for a quality piece. Either way, you’re sure to get your money’s worth when purchasing watches by Citizen.

Since its founding more than 100 years ago, Citizen has been making watches with new ideas. It is a successful brand because the company has always worked hard to make high-quality watches at a price that most people can afford.
